Review

The movie was bloody and gory and had some very campy elements. The cinematography was done well. The movie had elements of Saw and Scream with some of its red herrings and some of its killings. On that note, it did excel with a few inventive kills and some of its sideways commentary about social media. However, the big reveal of the killer and their motive was kind of inane. It lacked any punch as it was not appropriately set up in the beginning. Maybe with a few additional minutes more, this reveal would have been more substantive. As a slasher, even a B-movie slasher, it fell flat, particularly at the finale.

Verdict (Out of 10)

A 6 out of 10. The plot had potential, but beyond the introduction and a few inventive kills, this movie was mediocre. Perhaps the sequel now in development will iron out these issues.
