A group of college students visit a smart house as a last bid goodbye to school and off to the real world. What they don’t know is that the smart house has other plans for them.

Plot

The movie opens with a couple in the same smart house that the teenagers will ultimately visit. However, Margaux, the artificial intelligence (AI) of said smart house has other ideas. Not for overall self-improvement but perhaps something else entirely. Ultimately, the AI not only kills the couple that resided in the house before, but it seeks to fulfill its own definition of “love” whereby eliminating its teenage competitors.

Review

Some good ideas but it was riddled with a predictable plot and even worse computer-graphic imagery (CGI).

Verdict (Out of 10)

Fringe Fiction gives the movie a 4 out of 10, There were some good ideas, but the execution was terrible and the CGI was even worse. Gigantic plot holes near the end.
