Plot

Catherine Tremell, the author of the book Hot Pursuit, is reading to an audience while a dancer performs with a live orange boa constrictor. The boa constrictor accidentally or incidentally kills the dancer and the audience is in terror of what happened. Detective Damon Kivoni interrogates a suspect, an artist named Ezra, who was at the scene of a killing of a security guard during the live performance of the dancer and the snake.

Review

Fast-moving crime noir comic with definitely a mature rating. It begins with a dark twist and ends with the introduction of the artist. This artist seems to be taking center stage in this series. There are pictures of blood and gore definitely intended for mature audiences.

Verdict (Out of 10)

A solid 8 out of 10 for art and direction. Very solid introduction.
