Plot
Pound Foolish is traversing around town during her errands and is wondering what happened to the world. Everything is upside down and nothing makes much sense. Pound Foolish cooked for the entire troupe at R.K. Chesterfield’s Traveling Circus once upon a time with her special cauliflower casserole. Billy, a young boy, from the Mid-Yard Mischief Club is dared to enter the home of Pound Foolish. He encounters the artifacts of days gone by. Instead of calling the police, Pound Foolish feeds young Billy with her special cauliflower casserole. Nothing is stolen, nothing is broken, and Pound Foolish has at least taught young Billy a few things about the long and forgotten past.
Review
Fringe Fiction believes this comic fits better for the older people, the Boomers and beyond, than the comic book readers of today. However, the one piece that separates this comic from others is the inclusion of Pound Foolish’s casserole recipe. Fringe Fiction has yet to try this recipe, but it does appear amazing. However, the recipe is not vegan but leans toward vegetarian for those interested.
Verdict (Out of 10)
Fringe Fiction gives this comic a 7.7 out of 10. Some mixed opinions about this since the appeal won’t be to modern comic book readers. The inclusion of the recipe of the cauliflower casserole was a nice touch.
