Plot

Maya Kuyper is M.O.M., a woman endowed with multiple superpowers, depending on mood. She can go from invisible to incredibly fast. She goes to a corporate afterparty at Clapton Art Museum and reminisces about the past and becomes M.O.M. When she returns to work, she meets her colleague, Wanda Boone. Not soon afterward, Donald, the boss, is giving his review of Maya, and things only go downhill from there. Her neighbor Tiffany Nowak is murdered, and it appears that someone has been following Maya — or more specifically, M.O.M.

Review

A thick comic that has lots of introductions to characters and their backgrounds. Maya’s background is explored in depth, and her life has not exactly been rosy. With the fight within the last few pages of the comic, we see the depth and variation of M.O.M.’s powers.

Verdict (Out of 10)

Fringe Fiction gives this comic a 7.7 out of 10. Entertaining comic for a first issue.
