Plot
The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers defeated Rita Repulsa and Lord Zedd twenty-two years ago. Afterwards, the team broke up. In the present, Red Ranger is searching through their old base for something. However, he encounters someone apparently from his past. Meanwhile, in Angel Grove, Billy dedicates the community center to Trini with the Trini Kwan Memorial Park and Youth Center. Kimberly leaves the celebrations early to pay respects to Tommy. Zack comes by and invites Kimberly to eat with him and Billy at some place low-key. Zack has apparently revealed to the world in part that he’s a Power Ranger, and with that, he started the Clean Power Hip Hop Kido Festival. With the partial reveal, Billy started a telecommunication company — using his Power Coin and utilizing the Morphin Grid. Upon researching the Morphin Grid, Jason had morphed into the Red Ranger and wanted to stay in that form. Meanwhile, Billy finds out that there is more than the three of them, Jason, Billy and Zack, using the Morphin Grid. It ends on a cliffhanger with a younger relative of Trini’s stopping at Kimberly’s place with a Power Coin.
Review
This comic was a bit heavy on the exposition, sentiment and drama. It did introduce all the characters of Angel Grove presently including supporting characters.
Verdict (Out of 10)
Fringe Fiction gives this comic a 7.2 out 10. A satisfactory beginning but heavy on sentiment, drama and exposition.
