Plot
Somewhere in the Space-Time Vortex, the Fifteenth Doctor and Ruby Sunday are following a sound across space and time. They travel to dark places of the Doctor’s past until they land in Yorkshire. Meanwhile, at York Castle, on April 17, 1739, the dreaded highway man, Dick Turpin, is soon to be executed. However, Dick Turpin has a trick up his sleeve, a mechanization that he should not have in this time period. Dick Turpin nearly escapes until Ruby and the Doctor intervene.
Review
A somewhat sanguine introduction to the Fifteenth Doctor. We are introduced to some elements of the Doctor’s past and present. A cliffhanger at the end, but it doesn’t necessarily suggest a direction for the new Doctor. Perhaps it coincides with the first episode of Doctor Who on Disney+.
Verdict (Out of 10)
Fringe Fiction gives this comic a 6.7 out of 10. Acceptable introduction but not particularly memorable one for the new Doctor Who.
