Plot

Elsie and Patch, two neighborhood cats, are captured by the neighborhood animal patrol. As they are being transported, a rabid fox peers on the road. The animal patrol van flips over, killing the drivers. Meanwhile, Elsie and Patch are on the look out for their fellow cat, Lord Fluffy Britches. Things go sour quite quickly as they encounter rabid animals in the woods.

Review

Overall, a solid introduction to the Feral Cat series with the first chapter. The main characters are introduced with the element of rabies thrown in. It appears that things will get worse before they get better.
