Street Fighter II-Vol. 1 Comic Book Review

Plot

On the man-made island of Shad, Chun-Li handedly defeats her opponent. Meanwhile, Ryu is hungry and enters the Peking Restaurant in the Chinatown district where some of the clientele are threatening Po-Lin and Wong-Mei. Ryu deals with the disruptive customer but now has to fight Balrog. The fight between Balrog and Ryu isn’t easy, but Ryu finally wins in the end.

Review

For an older comic, it is very concise. There are introductions to the characters on the bottom and in the panels themselves.

Verdict (Out of 10)

Fringe Fiction gives this comic a 7.4 out of 10. Satisfactory introduction to the world of Street Fighter II.
