Plot

This is the introduction and origin story of Ant. But first, we are introduced to her gallery of rogues including Quizmaster and Half-Black. Daniel and her daughter, Hannah, are talking about her drawings. Hannah wants to become a superhero to protect her and everybody else around her. However, Mr. Steele has other intentions for Daniel upon Daniel’s discovery of a new serum.

Review

A concise and satisfying introduction to the superhero Ant — and her mission. Although her origin story isn’t too original, the presentation was sufficiently satisfying. The comic book also includes a story about Mario Gully and Erik Larsen — and a sketchbook.

Verdict (Out of 10)

Fringe Fiction gives this comic a 7.3 out of 10. Satisfying enough for an origin story.
