Plot

Not much in the way of the plot for this issue, but there was lots of introductions and exposition. Elisa Maza, a N.Y.P.D. detective, is love with Goliath, the leader of the Manhattan Clan of Gargoyles, and they often meet on top of the Eyrie Building, the tallest building in the world. We are introduced to Brooklyn, Goliath’s second-in-command, and his mate, Katana. Additionally, we are introduced to Lexington, Nashville, Hudson, Broadway and Angela. Lastly, two other members, Coldstone and Coldfire, are introduced as well. Much of this is cursory and very brief. Talon, the mutate, is introduced as the leader of the Labyrinth and the “big baddie.”

Review

Although colorfully drawn and illustrated, there is not much here in terms of story quite yet. Lots of introductions with some brief exposition is in the comic.

Fringe Fiction gives this comic a 6.7 out of 10. Not much in terms of story, mainly introduction and exposition.
