Plot

Commander Seven is in a training session of the Kobayashi Maru run by Admiral Jean-Luc Picard. Things don’t go so well for Seven, and she fails her test. A month later, at Chateau Picard, Laris suggests returning to Starfleet, and with a nudge, Admiral Picard decides to return to Starfleet by joining Captain Mekara on the U.S.S. Stargazer. The Stargazer returns to a location familiar with Admiral Picard, Jenjor VI. Upon arrival on Jenjor VI, things go from bad to worse.

Review

Definitely has the feel of the Star Trek universe, and Picard returns to Starfleet in form. The comic has sufficient pacing to keep it interesting, but it is a bit heady at times with introduction of new characters. There is a bonus section showing the additional comic book cover variants.
