Plot

BRZRKR (for now as the character has remained nameless) continues telling his origin story to Diana, the doctor at the facility. He tells Diana that his family were nomads 80,000 years ago, and eventually, they found a fertile valley to settle in. However, surrounding villages would “harvest” their valley, including women and children. His parents would go to a cave and ask the gods for a weapon to defend themselves. A glowing orb bequeaths her parents a child who would become BRZRKR. Upon another raid by surrounding villagers, teenage BRZRKR decimated the incoming raiders.

Review

In terms of comic and most movies, this origin story is filled with tropes. Highlander did this as well. Hopefully, the story begins to escalate really in the next few issues.

Verdict (Out of 10)

Fringe Fiction gives this comic a 6.8 out of 10. In terms of story, this issue is a retread of Highlander at its core.
