Happy Labor Day weekend!

Fringe Fiction did have the opportunity to watch a few movies this weekend. Most were okay except one which was better than okay.

Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga. Overall, a pretty good movie, but the vehicle action sequences paled in comparison to the first one. Lots of commerce, politics and drama between Dementus and Immortan Joe for at least two-thirds of the movie which after that, they should rename the movie Dementus and Immortan Joe: A Mad Max Saga. Fringe Fiction does recommend this movie at least for one watch.

Missing. Okay horror anthology but too campy overall. Fringe Fiction would not recommend this.

Jackpot! Awkafina and John Cena were decent together, but the overall movie was a predictable West Coast mess. The jokes were definitely directed toward a California/West Coast audience. The beginning was good. The rest not so much.
