The Ninjettes Volume 2, Issue #1 Comic Book Review

Plot

Through a flashback, we are introduced to the world of the Ninjettes where behavioral tests administered by schools to determine those with unruly behavior and relayed to the government. The young women are dropped off in a compound, and they find a room of crates. Soon, they discover guns and have to pursue each other since there are only three diplomas for eleven women in this school. Things go from bad to worse in a matter of a few minutes.

Review

Not quite the tone or the pacing of Jennifer Blood, but this is a fast-moving comic reminiscent of Battle Royale so far. However, we are not introduced to the main character’s name yet — only someone named Chloe.

Verdict (Out of 10)

Fringe Fiction gives this comic a 6.7 out of 10. The story is a bit convoluted without a proper introduction to any of the characters so far and only a tangential introduction to someone named Chloe.
