Plot

The female detective is accompanying Katie, the other half of Draculina, in San Francisco, a “Mumbai slum with better wifi.” In the past, in a dream state, Katie recalls her life in the foster home of Arnie and Mary-Beth. However, Arnie and Mary-Beth are exploiting these children for money. In another part of town, Belial, Draculina’s father, and Draculina’s mother, Lilith, is in search for her — or rather her alter-self, Katie, through manipulating dimensions and ultimately finds her.

Review

A bit of a discordant comic with flashbacks between Draculina and her father, Belial, and her mother, Lilith. Quite a lot of exposition without truly moving forward the story as of yet.

Verdict (Out of 10)

Fringe Fiction gives this comic a 7.0 out of 10. Interesting backstory but not much movement in the story in this issue.
