Punisher No. 4 Comic Book Review

Plot

In a flashback, Frank Castle was listening to music that his parents detest, and it forecasted that he was ultimately going to join the Army. In present time, Frank is told by the Archpriestess to kill the Hand that fleed from the battle with Ares. However, it appears that the Archpriestess and Ares have something in mind for Frank Castle, and their intentions may be more deceitful. Perhaps Frank Castle will be the Fist of the Beast.

Review

A bit of a convoluted story involving Ares, the Archpriestess, the Hand and the Punisher and the direction of the comic wasn’t abundantly clear, even toward the finale and cliffhanger of this issue.

Verdict (Out of 10)

Fringe Fiction gives this comic a 6.7 out of 10. A bit of a convoluted story without much of a direction in Fringe Fiction’s opinion. There are hints there toward the end, but it is muddied.
