Plot

The comic book consists of three tales: Blood Type from Epitaphs of the Abyss, The Champion from Cruel Universe and Death and Pickaxes from Cruel Kingdom. Blood Type consists of a vampiress escaping her meal in an alleyway only to find herself on a boat in a storm. In The Champion, Jake and other captured by pirates and exploited in the Universal Tournament of Champions where there is only death. In Death and Pickaxes, a take on the story of Sleeping Beauty, the last dwarf who protected Sleeping Beauty in her sleep is in one foul mood and commits a mistake of disastrous and murderous proportions.

Review

All three were fairly solid, but the second one was the most interesting one with the twist at the end. Blood Type was decent but had a bit too much pulp.

Verdict (Out of 10)

Fringe Fiction gives it a 7 out of 10. Solid and entertaining read.
