Plot

Will Eisner is an aspiring comic book artist in Manhattan in 1936. He is turned down for several jobs just as he is applying. He finds a job at the New York American, but that soon fails as well. Then finds a job at Wow magazine and meets up with the editor-in-chief S.M. Iger. Through some ingenuity, Will Eisner impresses S.M. Iger.

Review

Overall, a fun, readable and optimistic read of Will Eisner’s life. The art style was appropriate, and the story was easily readable and entertaining.
