Fringe Fiction watched three movies over this weekend: Final Destination: Bloodlines and Heads of State.
Final Destination: Bloodlines was pretty good although in all fairness, it did not play out like the previous Final Destination movies. It did keep its campiness if not go overboard at the end. It was the final appearance of Tony Todd in Final Destination, and there’s some twisted irony. Overall, Fringe Fiction thinks this is worth a watch. Just don’t expect the feel from the previous in the Final Destination movie series. What did you think of the movie? Please feel free to comment below.
Heads of State was an action-comedy starring John Cena and Idris Elba. Fringe Fiction thought this movie was going to be terrible, but it is watchable. The action and fight sequences are worth their weight in gold. Not quite the standard set by the John Wick movies though. It does deal with the current topic of the United States pulling out of NATO, and the movie handles it in its own way. Overall, a fun summer popcorn action movie worth a watch.
