Plot

This comic consists of three tales from the Franzettaverse: Death Dealer, Mothman and Dawn Attacks. In Death Dealer, the Death Dealer, a barbarian, is seeking to find his wife and child across the hostile land. He makes deals with a Sorceress, the Sorcerer Edrick and the Sea Witch to finally accomplish the task. In Mothman, the Ferrells try to explore what caused an explosion, and they soon discover a Mothman escaping with their dog Roscoe. Lastly, in Dawn Attack, in the outskirts of the Fold, Princess is in search of food and encounters a hostile beast.

Review

Of the three tales, the first two were the most concise and in depth. The third was a bit too short. And between the two stories, Death Dealer was the most complete. Death Dealer has hints of Conan with its own mythology. Mothman was set in modern times and relatable to those in New Jersey and elsewhere as these tales still exist.
