On this Sunday, Fringe Fiction watched two movies: Den of Thieves and Den of Thieves 2: Pantera. The first is worthy of a watch, but the sequel was not.

Den of Thieves involved Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department “Big Nick” attempting to take down Ray Merrimen and his gang of thieves taking down armored vehicles. This movie was full of action and some surprises. Fringe Fiction won’t spoil the ending for you, but this movie is definitely worth a watch or two.

Den of Thieves 2: Pantera, on the other hand, was formulaic in Fringe Fiction’s opinion. Fringe Fiction may have had high expectations for this film and expected more. Overall, this movie was incredibly predictable and didn’t do the first movie justice. Fringe Fiction thinks movie is worth a watch for the action, but in terms of plot, it fails throughout.
