Fringe Fiction Goes to the Movies #fringefiction #frifi #movies #moviereviews #socialmedia #sisu #sisuroadtorevenge #predator #predatorbadlands #roadtorevenge #badlands

On this cloudy weekend in Philadelphia, Fringe Fiction watched a couple of movies: Sisu: Road to Revenge and Predator: Badlands. Both are worthy of a watch and recommended.

Sisu: Road to Revenge is the sequel to Sisu. A former Finnish commando, Aatami Korpi, is forced to move his entire house from the territory of Karelia to Finland. Along the way, he encounters some trouble and escalation. Overall, this movie had its moments and played mostly by the book. The original had much more of a bite in Fringe Fiction’s opinion. However, this movie remains worthy of a watch or two and recommended.

Predator: Badlands is worthy of a watch as well. It involves a young Predator, a Yautja, goes to the Badlands in pursuit of a Kalisk, an apex predator of the planet Genna. In this movie, we are introduced to the brutal culture of the Yautja where even family has no limits. It is essentially a coming-of-age adventure film, and a fairly good one at that. Fringe Fiction recommends watching this film.
