Fringe Fiction attends the Fan Expo Philadelphia on a very special Friday as the event is being introduced. It was a packed event for the first day of the event. We got our Ultimate Fan badge and it had to be verified prior to entering the event formally. Fringe Fiction went to the Ultimate Fan Lounge after being misdirected the first time around. Apparently so did one of the convention speakers Ethan Suplee who arrived somewhat late to his event after being misdirected in the convention center.

At the Ultimate Fan lounge, we peeked at what got in our swag bags.

With our handy map, we head upstairs to the main center filled with comics, cosplay and video games — and more Funko Pop dolls.

Fringe Fiction did stop by the cosplay area, but that will be more of a focus tomorrow along with all things Japanese. But here’s a brief glimpse on what we are going to focus on tomorrow.
