In Initial D, Takumi races down Mount Akaina. The next day, Takumi’s friend is hoping to obtain an Eighty-Six but it is far out of his price range. And, in Kaina of the Great Snow, Princess Ririha of the Atlands is attempting to make her escape but is soon ambushed by the Valghians.

Review

Acceptable introductions to both mangas. Fringe Fiction, however, thinks the second tale is more thorough in setting the characters and landscape.
