Camilla Rowe plays Tina and recently starred in Pet Shop Days (2023) and Night of the Hunted (2023). James Jaggers plays Ben and best known for Vinyl (2016) television series. Eric Savin plays Pierre and recently starred in Cannes Confidential (2023) television series.

Plot

A pair of Youtubers want to go explore more exotic places and they encounter an European town with a preserved house in a lake. The young influencers go scuba diving and begin to explore the house. Progressing deeper, they encounter a pair of sinister spirits that pursue them, fully intent on dragging and keeping the influencers in the depths of the lake.

Review

Some potentially good ideas wasted in this movie. The exploration of a house hidden in a lake as a horror mechanism is a particularly good idea. However, the movie got muddled in its execution, particularly toward the end. Also, the ghosts, although haunting and pursuing, the pair of ghosts lacked intensity. The filmography was a tad bit off with the ghosts, and the scenes revolving around them were disjointed and disconnected at times. The finale was a bit underwhelming but it was filmed well.

Fringe Fiction gives this movie a 6.5 out of 10. A great idea that got muddled in the middle and especially the ending.
