Plot

Violet Liddle returns from Wonderland after Carol Ann Liddle, her mother, dying in the process. Violet contemplates suicide, but another story is going on as she does. Bonny Givens, who has repeatedly bullied at the girls’ academy, finally snaps and hurts a fellow student severely. A raven eventually leads Bonnie to the Grand Hatter. Meanwhile, Wonderland is beckoning Violet, and she returns but not without a fight.

Review

Solid introduction to the Liddles and the Givens as both are entering Wonderland. Fringe Fiction likes how the comic describes the psychological impacts of Wonderland on Violet Liddle — and the rest of the family. It has been a recurring theme since Lewis Caroll’s Alice in Wonderland.
