Plot

After the events of Death Metal, the DC universe has begun anew. In Checkmate’s headquarters in the Swiss Alps, Team Flash consisting of multiple Flashes, Impulse and others. They nearly stop the Thinker until he had something waiting for Team Flash and kills a member of the team. With that, Team Flash regroups and mourns the lost member in their own way. While in the Speed Force, Wally changed into something dangerous. Team Flash decides to confront Wally through the Mental Speed Force using modified Thinker’s caps. Meanwhile, Wally perceives himself as Famine and immediately begins decimating Team Flash. Yet another member doesn’t survive as Iris removes the helmets in the last moments.

Review

Overall, a solid comic for fans of Flash. Team Flash is using technology in new and varied ways. However, new readers may be a bit disoriented as they are introduced to multiple characters without explanation of the DC multiverse.

Fringe Fiction give this comic a 7.3 out of 10. Entertaining and solid read for fans of Flash.
